Because that’s what they are — intimate conversations with identifiable third parties who never chose to opt in. Here is what we do about that.
Encrypted at rest
Paid-tier chat content is column-encrypted with pgcrypto; the key lives in Supabase Vault, never in code or logs. Free-tier rows auto-delete within 24 hours.
Moderated before it's stored
Every screenshot passes server-side moderation — OpenAI multimodal + a CSAM hash check — before it leaves quarantine. We never train on your conversations.
Biometric lock on the Rooms tab
Face ID or fingerprint gate on iOS and Android. Enabled in one tap. Failing the gate forces a magic-link re-auth — no indefinite retry loop.
One-tap delete, everywhere
Account deletion wipes your rows, your Storage prefix, your RevenueCat subscriber, and your OneSignal tag. Tested. GDPR-grade. No forms to fill in.

What data do you train on?
None of your chats. Ever. Your conversations are analysed in the moment and discarded within 24 hours on the free tier, 30 days encrypted on paid. They never enter a training pipeline — ours or anyone else's.Will it sound like AI?
Not if we've done our job. You pick a persona at onboarding — smooth, funny, romantic, or mysterious — and every reply is written in that voice. The first rule in our system prompt is: replies must sound like a real human wrote them.How is this different from ChatGPT?
ChatGPT is a general assistant. aura is a specialist. We built the conversation-intelligence model (interest meter, flag detection, power balance), the persona system, the outcome flywheel, and a UI designed for one job. ChatGPT can write a reply. aura reads the whole thread first.Which messaging platforms does it read?
