This is the page for getting help with aura — billing, account access, content reports, bug reports, and anything else that came up while using the app. The fastest path is email. Real people answer; we aim to reply within a few days.

How to reach us

Subscriptions and billing

aura is a single subscription, billed weekly through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. The 3-day free trial begins when you tap Begin the trial; it auto-converts to $7.99 per week (or local equivalent) unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.

Cancelling.You can cancel any time from your device’s subscription settings. Cancellation stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the current paid period.

Refunds. All purchases are processed by Apple or Google, so refund requests are handled by them under their standard policies; we cannot directly refund a store purchase. To request a refund, on iOS visit reportaproblem.apple.com and pick the aura subscription. On Android, open the Play Store, tap Profile › Payments & subscriptions › Budget & order history, find the aura purchase, and tap Request a refund.

Restore purchase.If you were previously subscribed but the app doesn’t reflect it — e.g. after reinstalling or switching devices — open aura, go to Settings › Subscription › Restore, and the store will resync your entitlement. If the restore doesn’t recover access, email support@tryaura.datingfrom the email address on your account and we’ll investigate.

Price changes. If we change the price, the new price applies only to renewals after the change is announced; your store will surface an explicit consent prompt when this happens. You can cancel at that point with no further charge.

Your account

aura uses magic-link emails — there are no passwords. Tap Send the code on the sign-in screen, we email a 6-digit code, and you enter it in the app.

Code not arriving.Check your spam folder, then your email provider’s quarantine. Some providers route automated mail through aggressive filters; sometimes it takes a couple of minutes. If the code still hasn’t arrived after five minutes, email support@tryaura.datingand we’ll send one manually.

Locked out.If you’ve lost access to the email address on your account, email support@tryaura.dating from any address with as much detail as you can about the account (the email you used, the rough sign-up date, anything that identifies you). We verify ownership before we change anything.

Delete your account. Open aura, go to Settings › Account › Delete account, and confirm. Deletion is irreversible. It wipes your profile, chat history, uploaded images, RevenueCat subscriber record, OneSignal device, and your Supabase auth user.

Export your data. Open aura, go to Settings › Privacy › Export data. We return a JSON file containing everything we hold about you, plus time-limited signed URLs for your uploaded images.

Content and safety

Reporting content. On a published Win, Battle entry, or any user-visible community surface, tap the report icon to open the report sheet. Choose a reason, add an optional note, send. Reports go directly to the moderation queue.

What happens after a report.We review every report. Confirmed policy violations result in content removal and, depending on severity, restrictions on the account. The image moderation pipeline records a strike each time an upload is rejected for a policy reason; three lifetime strikes automatically freeze further uploads on the account. Suspected CSAM is reported to authorities where required by law — we have zero tolerance for content depicting minors in any sexualised, suggestive, or exploitative context.

Disputing a strike or a freeze. If you believe a strike or suspension was issued in error, email support@tryaura.datingwith the approximate time of the affected upload and a brief description. We’ll review and respond.

Safety concerns about someone else.If you’re worried that another aura user or someone in your conversation may be at risk of self-harm, exploitation, or violence, email security@tryaura.dating and include anything we’d need to act. We treat these reports seriously and respond quickly.

AI suggestions

Every reply suggestion, intelligence read, and trend headline is AI-generated. They’re informed guesses, not facts. Sometimes they’re wrong; occasionally they read the wrong tone; you should always trust your own judgement first. You decide what you actually send.

If a suggestion looks off:

aura’s AI will not generate sexual content involving anyone who appears to be a minor, will not help with stalking or harassment or impersonation, and will not produce medical, legal, or financial advice. If you suspect a suggestion violated any of these, please report it.

If something broke, email support@tryaura.dating with what you can:

Screenshots help but aren’t required — and please don’t include screenshots of your actual dating chats. We don’t need them to debug, and you don’t owe us the content.

Privacy questions

For data-protection requests — access, deletion, correction, complaints — the fastest path is in the app: Settings › Privacy. For specific questions or to exercise rights without the app, email privacy@tryaura.dating.

For Terms of Service questions, copyright claims, takedown notices, or other legal matters, email legal@tryaura.dating. Per our Terms of Service §16, please allow 30 days for informal resolution before formal escalation.

Creator program and partnerships

aura runs a trial-batch creator program at /creators for dating-content creators. Successful applicants get extended trial access in exchange for product feedback.
